YOU LITTLE CREATURE

( THIS POEM EXPRESSES THE FEELINGS OF A GRANDFATHER WHEN HE SAW HIS NEW BORN GRANDSON FOR THE FIRST TIME)


When you were born
You were totally unaware,
Of the leisure and luxury you wanted
You were an innocent soul at that moment who just didn’t
Seem to care.

You were like an angel; having a charming voice of a cuckoo
Playing in your imaginative world where nothing was harmful
Your eyes were such,
That even a tyrant would bow in front of you.

You had a spark; as if we received a shadow of God in you.
You little creature fidgeting with your toys, was the most peaceful
person
At that very minute in this world.

The trickle of my tiny tear drops didn’t stop,
Enrapt,
Looking at this little angel who didn’t have
Any intrigues or grudges,
Just free as a feather

I felt like capturing this moment
In a bottle forever and never let go
With a thought
“Would I find another memory like this before I die?”

TRUST - AN IMPORTANT VIRTUE TO BE A GOOD HUMAN BEING

To be a good human being is to have a kind of openness to the world, an ability to trust uncertain things beyond your control. That’s because it is this trust which will attract the control of these uncertain things.

When I was young, well I am still young, just thirteen years old. What I intend to say is that when I was five or six years old I wasn’t able to trust anyone actually any adult as I use to feel that every adult in this world were aliens and that they were soon going to reveal their identity and eat me up. At that time I use to get scolded by my parents that why I wasn’t interacting with the adults and I never told them why.

This continued till a year or two. As the years passed I didn’t know when I realized that trust is the main virtue. It is only when you trust someone, the person in turn trusts you. As per my perspective, the reason for the successful working of this law is that when you show your trust towards someone, the openness and purity of your heart is reflected as well. This reflection attracts the other person towards you along with his trust and love.

Actually everything depends upon your trust.
For example:-
If you trust the holiness of River Ganga it becomes holy and if you don’t it is just flowing water.
