Is the glass half empty or half full?

Is the glass half empty or half full? People having such type of questions usually get confused. It is nothing but the power of perspective. You can either look at the things optimistically or pessimistically. Take our age for example. A person, who has just turned fifty, can either look at their age as if they have spent the fifty years of their life or as if they have fifty more amazing years to live. So this only depicts that things should be taken positively.

Now let’s come back to the glass of water. Well, if someone would ask me to stick on to one decision whether the glass is half filled or half empty. I would definitely choose the half filled side. This half glass of water could quench someone’s thirst, save some one’s life. This small amount of water could satisfy a person to a great extent. If I would choose the second option that is the half empty glass of water, it would be of no use. It would just make me sad. It would make me think of those reasons due to which I couldn’t fill the glass completely with water.

As I mentioned before that it is all about the power of perspective. It all depends on how we look at things.

I have a very good example that would prove this point. Just imagine a son of a rich business man who is offered bread and butter for breakfast. He can either look at it as a dry breakfast or he can value it with a thought that if this same food was offered to him after a full week of starvation this meal would seem like a feast to him.

Once a person has adopted such kind of thinking he would definitely start respecting every aspect of life.

Waves

They splash into the sun rays,
Like diamonds in the heap,
They sweep across the shallows,
With an enormous leap.

Creating music is their passion,
With little ripples and troughs,
They have the strength of submerging the whole nation,
But instead it remains calm and bows.

Like a mirror it reflects the world,
Creating another dimension,
But a minute you swing with it,
It is nothing but a bed recreation.

FAILURE IS ONLY THE OPPORTUNITY TO BEGIN AGAIN, MORE INTELLIGENTLY

‘FAILURE’ when we think of this remark, every one receives a impetuous set back.
But if we look at it through a different perspective, our life may even change. Failure is just a stepping stone to success. It just brings us to a new path that we missed while taking another unsuccessful road towards success. When you fall down, you get a chance to prepare and correct your previous mistakes. Our thought should only drive us to a path that only leads to the development of our life. It should bring an instantaneous change in our lifestyle and our reaction towards odd things that instead of crying over spilt milk we should instead wipe it and save money to buy a new one. And this time we would be more vigilant with the milk.

Usually people take their failures really fatally when they have a propensity to compete with others which leads to disparity. But this method is wrong. We should rather try to compete with ourselves first and then others which is not possible because competing and then succeeding from ourselves might take our whole life or even more!!

Second of all, the fear of your competitor’s mockery is useless. They will just chortle at you for the first two days and then they will forget about you and your failure. The main impact will take place on you. It is your wish whether you want to take it as erudition or as a defeat. But the right thing to do would be to acknowledge your mistakes and correct them with more intelligence.

Now at this moment wouldn’t we feel propitious that we got another chance to redo our task and not commit the same fault again!!

LIFE

Life is wisdom,
Life is a race.
There are so many ways to classify it,
But at the end it is just a waste.

We believe in unity in diversity,
But it is our preaching what we do.
Being a hypocrite is something that everyone likes,
Being s liar is the new trend of being true.

Why can’t one understand?
That simplicity is life.
To allow one to be what they are,
And to lead the life with a smile and not a scar.
